Organization

Food insecurities are an issue that some Bedford County School children face on a daily basis. No child should go hungry. It takes the collaboration of many people and community partners to end childhood hunger. We exist to connect community partners, donors, and grant funding to provide the practical food distribution to the children of New London Academy who do not have access to food over the weekend and qualify for the free breakfast and lunch program. Feed the Need is a program of New London Church located in Forest, VA.

Our Vision

Address the issue of childhood hunger in our local community by providing weekly food packages sent home each Friday so that no child goes hungry over the weekend.

Our Mission

Providing nutrition resources for eligible students of New London Academy in order to address the issue of childhood hunger.
