What We Do
Adult Sunday School
Adult Sunday School is offered every Sunday morning at 9:30 am. This is a blended class for all adult ages including our college students. We find that blended adult learning benefits every age group as we can all glean from one another. Adult Sunday School takes place in the Chapel.
Ladies Night
Once a month our ladies gather together in various houses or venues for fellowship. These well attended gatherings offer a chance to build authentic community. Sometimes it’s a lunch out, occasionally, it’s sharing testimonies, bunko, a painting class, or near the holiday’s a simple cookie exchange. Whatever your preference or personality there is something to enjoy.
Men’s Group
All men are invited to attend the Monday night men’s Bible study. This study takes place in the Chapel and meets weekly at 7:00 p.m. This group of men seeks to help each other grow in God’s Word and provided accountability to God’s Word and expectations. Bring your Bible and a friend.
College/Young Adults Ministry
Positioned just 8 miles on 460 west from Liberty University, it’s not surprising to find we have a growing and active ministry for college students and young adults. There are hiking trips, meals, study nights, prayer meetings and bible study just to mention a few additional opportunities for fellowship. But even more than that this age group servers our fellowship in a multitude of ways. From greeters, to children’s teachers, to helping lead worship on our Praise Team, these individuals play a critical role in our success as a church.
Youth Group
Our Youth Group is composed of middle and high school students from a variety of local schools. The students have opportunities for bible study on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. Monthly activities vary depending on the season but include cookouts, game nights, movies, etc. Everyone’s favorite is the progressive dinner, enjoying multiple courses at different houses throughout the evening.
Elementary School and Earlier
There are opportunities for kids learning and activities during every service time listed. Sunday morning boasts more divisions in classes and ages while Wednesday night utilizes blended learning across the spectrum of ages.
Answers in Genesis material is used Sunday Mornings and is a reliable Bible curriculum that travels through the Bible chronologically. Our Wednesday night kid’s program is year round and consists of an eight month Pioneer Clubs program (similar to AWANA) and four months of Torch Lighters where children learn about Heroes of the Faith.
All of our rooms are designed with your children in mind, with in class bathroom for the Pre-K and Nursery and age appropriate learning materials and toys.
Be sure to arrive a few minutes early to get your child checked in to our safe child system, and settled in to their room, before finding your own seat for class or service.
